Stanislava Novgorodtseva is Documentary photographer and visual storyteller. Was born in Moscow in 1989. Currently lives in Tbilisi. Stanislava works as a photographer with a number of media and foundations. Her images have been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Colta, Calvert Journal, Courrier International, The Village. BirdInflight, Takie Dela, Russian Reporter and others. However, the main focus is on long-term personal projects. The work focuses on the themes of ethnic identity, the relationship of personal and social. In her search for a visual language, she often turns to archetypal images of fairy tales and mythology. Stanislava became a finalist of several international competitions as Mention prize PRIX Levallois 2020, VOHH foto fest 2020, Winner of the LensCulture Visual Storytelling Awards 2019, Direct Look 2021 and others.
