Lana-Maria Megrelishvili - Primitive Man

The work explores the fascinating history of Dmanisi — an archaeological site in modern-day Georgia, where the remains of Homo georgicus, one of the earliest known representatives of the genus Homo to leave Africa around 1.8 million years ago, were discovered. According to one scientific hypothesis, this migration may have played an important role in the evolutionary path that eventually led to the emergence of Homo sapiens.
